Made in the Mitten

For the last few months I have been on a wild hunt for a more appropriate paper to print my cards on. I am very pleased to say that I have found a match! All Dear Ollie greeting cards are now being printed on paper made by French Paper Co.

French Paper Co. is one of the last, small, independent paper mills in the United States, and it’s located right here in Michigan! When I came across their website I was so excited. Not only are they from the mitten state, but they are an environmentally conscious company and are  powered by fully renewable hydroelectric generators.

I immediately called their customer service line, and next thing I knew they sent me a few samples, on the house! I choose the perfect weight and made a bulk order, which came in this insanely gorgeous box pictured above. I am proud to say that all Dear Ollie greeting cards are now being printed on heavy weight card stock from the Pop-Tone line, on a color so perfectly titled, “Sweet Tooth”. It all feels so fate-y to me.

Their paper is also part of some seriously cool projects, which you can check out on the French Paper Co. blog
